Spicy Ramen Burgers

Hoff is self quarantined and using this time to show you how to make spicy ramen burgers with homemade asian pickles and Hoff's yum yum sauce spicy mayo! Learn how to make this easy meal with items you may have access to in your pantry and enjoy delicious meals while staying inside.


Spicy Ramen Burger Ingredients

1 pkg Ramen noodles

2 eggs

6 ounces ground beef

American cheese

Vegetable oil, for pan

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2-3 TBLS Hoff's Wake Up Call Hot Sauce

1 tsp sugar

Quick Asian Pickles (recipe below)

DIRECTIONS:

1:
Boil ramen noodles for 3 minutes then drain and rinse in cold water. Mix 1 egg in the cooked ramen along with about half of the flavor packet the ramen comes with.

2:
Cover a round mold such as mason jar rings or burger mold with plastic wrap and place the noodles in the mold, pressing down and wrapping up completely. Place both ramen “buns” in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up.

3:
In a frying pan over medium heat add vegetable oil. Remove the ramen “buns” from the plastic wrap and cook until golden on each side, about 4 minutes per.

4:
Now to make Hoff's Wake Up Call Yum Yum Sauce. In a small bowl whisk together mayonnaise, Hoff's Wake Up Call Hot Sauce, and sugar. Set aside to top burger.

5:
Cook your burger to your preference and top with cheese and a fried egg. Garnish with Hoff’s quick asian pickles and Wake Up call Yum Yum sauce!

Hoff's Quick Asian Pickle Ingredients

1 cup thinly sliced cucumber

½ cup thinly sliced onion

½ cup vinegar

¼ cup sugar

1 tsp fresh grated or ground ginger

2 TBLS soy sauce

2 TBLS sesame oil

1 tsp fresh grated or powdered ginger

1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

DIRECTIONS:

1:
Slice cucumbers and onions very thinly (a mandolin works well for this).

2:
Mix vinegar, sugar, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil and pepper flakes in a mixing bowl and whisk until sugar is dissolved.

3:
Mix in cucumber and onions and cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
