INGREDIENTS:

1 pound hamburger

3/4 cup water

1/3 cup oatmeal, briefly pulsed in the coffee grinder

2 tbls butter

2 tsp Hoff’s Chuckwagon Chili Powder

1/4 tsp pepper

1/4 t MSG (optional but also called Accent in the spice section)

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1 tbls vinegar

DIRECTIONS:

1:
To get the meat into really fine particles, put water, meat, and butter in the bottom of a skillet on medium heat and stir up using a fork. Keep going until it is really well broken up.

2:
Add the rest of the ingredients and brown the meat. As you simmer it the meat will get a little soupy and gooey. Keep simmering, uncovered, until the meat is nice and thick.

3:
Serve on hard or soft taco shells with cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and of course, Hoff Sauce!
